Inasmuch improves digital health and vaccination capabilities
Residents at Inasmuch Community Inc. aged care facility in Sussex Inlet are experiencing improved health and wellbeing thanks to enhanced digital health and vaccination initiatives.
With COORDINARE's guidance, Inasmuch registered for My Health Record and now accesses vital health information, including hospital discharge summaries and immunisation records via the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). This has enabled timely vaccinations and better care delivery.
Funding from COORDINARE also allowed six registered nurses to complete immuniser training, with one focusing on vaccine hesitancy. COVID vaccination rates at the facility rose by 50% between October and November 2024, with support from local GPs.
